Amphetamine Discharge

Amphetamine Discharge was a band formed in Seville (Spain) in 1991. Their music is situated between punk, pop, rock and hardcore.

The initial formation was:

- Aurora López Moreno: vocals and guitar.
- Joaquin "Loco" Díaz Fernández: guitar.
- José Antonio "Prima" López Moreno: bass and chorus.
- Rafael Montero: drums.

Amphetamine Discharge started to be known on the spanish indice scene around 1993 with their second demo, which won by popular vote the demo contest from Spanish national radio station (Radio Nacional de España, Radio 3)

Thanks to the first prize won at the San Pepe Rock, Campillos (Málaga, Spain) in 1994, Amphetamine Discharge sign a contract with Roto Records. Their first album, called "Rotaflex", was recorded with limited equipment at a record studio in Seville (Spain).
The band toured Spain even acting as the support band for gigs like Oasis, The Cure, or Elastica in their concerts in 1995.

In 1996 Roto Records releases the second album from Amphetamine Discharge, "Parking".
An album recorder in Coyote Studios from New York under the supervision of Andy Shernoff (The Dictators).

In 1997 a song from the album "Parking", "Glamour", is included in Amenabar`s "Abre los ojos" movie soundtrack.
