Artist Detailed Info: Alpha1

Alpha1 is a Norwegian beatmaker from the coastal city Kristiansund. His music is mostly samplebased mixes in the genre of Rap, but with a wide source of inspiration, varying from bands such as the Cuban Buena Vista Social Club to Norwegian Black Metal Dimmu Borgir. Among his titles are BÆSJATRENGT, a title witch suggests that he is in dire need to go to the toilet (direct translation). Alpha1 started his musical carreer in the Kristiansund underground rap scene at an age of 13, built a network and did some songs, before pursuing beatmaking solo. He is qouted saying that he does most his work while not beliving in alien, though being alien to the concept of aliens being unfamiliar with the english language. Alpha1 often experiment with different sounds and genres, although he mostly produces rap beats.

In January 2010 he released a beat tape called "støv fra speakern", meaning "dust from the speaker", downloadable free of charge. He is currently working with various rap artists from the Norwegian rapscene as a beatmaker, and is planing to release a mixtape with these collabo's hitting the web in March, the third month of the year in the Gregorian calendar.
