Artist Detailed Info: Aftervoid

Aftervoid started off in 2012 as a solo project by Pedro Guilherme (ex-Painted Black). Seeking to bring back the roots of the experimental side of electronica (heralded by the likes of Vladimir Ussachevsky, Tangerine Dream and Cluster), the project took its first step with the recording of what would later become the Limits of Infinity EP, released in 2014 by the label Abismo Humano. Blending folk with electronica and ambient music, this release received widespread critical acclaim by fans and webzines alike, being scored a proud 8/10 by Metal Imperium. After the release, Hugo Meruje (Inner Helvete, Warmaster, Immanis) joined Aftervoid as a producer and, later, a full-time member. In 2016, the band felt the need to expand its sonic and creative dimension, and accepting a new member was in order; enter multi-instrumentalist Mariana Parasense. The band is currently working on a new album.
