4StringRick is an unaccompanied, meaning solo, bass guitar player. He began playing in 9th grade after dabbling with the guitar for a few years. He played in a few punk bands in high school, then entered college in 2003. During college, Rick quit playing to focus on his studies and other pursuits. After moving to Pittsburgh in 2007, Rick finally resumed his playing the next year, in 2008. Since then, he has not been able to put the instrument down. Since moving back to Cincinnati in 2009, Rick has finished his debut self titled album, and is currently working on more musical aspirations.
