Spoons sind eine Kanadische New Wave/New Romantic/Synth Pop Band, die 1979 in Burlington, Ontario gegründet wurden. Sie hatten mehrere Chart-Hits zwischen 1982 und 1989. Im Jahre 1983 haben sie den "Group of the Year" an den "U-Know Awards" gewonnen.
