"Recon" is an American straight-edge metalcore band that was formed in Glens Falls, New York in 2003. They have toured throughout the entire United States with bands such as Thick As Blood, Palehorse, Emmure, The Miles Between, Farewell to Freeway, The Battlecat, Terror, Shai Hulud, Earth Crisis, and Winds of Plague. In August 2007 Recon signed a deal with Rise Records and is set to record and put out "Welcome To Viper City" in 2008.
