It all began in 1992 on a most memorable night at the legendary independent bar "Spirit Of Mozart" in Karlsruhe-Forchheim. Both musicians had a contract with Spirit Productions at the time: Dirk Lakomy with his band Derrière Le Miroir and Tobias Birkenbeil with his project Factory Life. This happened to be the birth of an artistic friendship which developed to an overall collaboration over the years.
