Künstler Informationen: Ish Marquez

Ish Marquez is a singer, guitarist and songwriter born and bred in the Bronx in New York City. He’d played music around town since the early nineties but eventually fell in with and gained some reknown amongst the ‘Antifolk’ scene at the Sidewalk Café in the East Village at around the same time as The Moldy Peaches, Jeffrey Lewis, Dufus, Regina Spektor, and a number of other significant acts. He had a somewhat legendery misfit band called the Lonesome Crew, with Anders Griffen (ex Jeffrey Lewis Band) on drums and Scott Fragalla on bass. [mehr anzeigen...]
