Chen belongs to the Korean and Chinese boy band EXO. His real name is Kim Jongdae and his nationality is Korean. He is the main vocalist of EXO-M, the mostly in Chinese promoting part of EXO.

He also took part in SM The Ballad in February 2014 promoting 3 different Duets.
