Captive Heart was an american AOR band adopted by former SURVIVOR man Jim Peterik, who assisted purely in a songwriting capacity on debut album 'Home Of The Brave', CAPTIVE HEART began more as a recording project than as a band. Guitarist Chuck Kawal worked as a recording engineer who recorded his own material in his spare time, the songs on what would become 'Home Of The Brave' starting life as demos recorded by Kawal after hours as early as 1990.
