Beginning in March of 2008, Cadence was the brainchild of five guys scattered across the Chicagoland area looking to break the mold and introduce to the scene a fresh, new sound. With each of them sharing a vision of what they hoped it would become, their music, as well as their lineup, underwent several changes before evolving into what it is today.
