Artist Info: Zoopsia

One of Leeds 6's many prolific bands from the mid-90's. Influences were Godflesh, God Machine, Cocteau Twins, Jesus Lizard, Head of David etc.

Their only official release was a 7" on Jackass records - Assisi/Madagascar (Also on the label were Oil Seed Rape, Nub, The Pushkins & Terminal Cheesecake). There are a couple of unreleased demos and an unreleased album knocking about somewhere. The Band split in the late 90's.

Emlyn Jones (vocals/bass) was in Liz Gizzad and is now in Bilge Pump with Joe Mask (who used to do their movie backdrops). [read more...]
