Writhe UK are an alternative indie rock band formed in Holloway, London. The original line-up consisted of Eddie Turjan (vocals, guitar), Alfie Casan (lead guitar, bass), Dave Hutt (rhythm guitar), and Roland (drums). Their style of music might be described as melodic lo-fi grunge, with a bunch of extremely laid-back chilled-out stoner stuff thrown in, which, according to Melody Maker mag, is "ideal for taking smack to, on a waterbed...".
