When Waves Collapse is an instrumental band based in the Netherlands, drawing inspiration from science, post-rock, shoegaze, ambient, and post-black metal. Prompted in equal parts by scientific postulation and existential expressivity, multi-instrumentalist and scientist, Travis J. Wiltshire, creates compositions that range from vastly cosmic to crushingly terrestrial.
