Weiza are a nu metal band formed in Chile in late 2000.

The band was founded by Nicolás Colombres (drums), José Rojas (guitar), Sebastián Colombres (bass), and Rudi Meibergen (vocals), initially performing at school festivals. With a primarily rock-driven approach, Weiza began evolving in search of a distinct identity.

Their first demo was recorded in 2000, followed by a second demo in late 2001 at Pulso Studios, produced by Alex Caicedo and featuring Claudio Contador of Raza as a guest vocalist. [read more...]
