Artist Info: Wavecrash

A now defunct punk band from the Birmingham Alabama scene consisting of guitarist/vocalist Taylor Jones, bassist Alex "luvin-da-hair" Melton, and drummer Breenan Holzer. Known for their chopping guitar sound and spoken word vocals, this band recorded only one album, the "Assisted Suicide" EP before breaking up sometime in early 2006.

Although never achieving mainstream success, the band was still a major influence to local Birmingham hardcore bands such as Legion and The Recluse. [read more...]
