WASAYA is a progressive rock act from Damascus, Syria in formed by Syrian musician Tarek SHEHABI. Tarek is a musician born and lives in Damascus; he is a multi-instrumentalist playing guitar, piano and keyboards, at the beginning of 2014 he started the project 'Wasaya' which means 'wills' in English. It's a progressive rock act with a touch of oriental atmosphere and featuring many Syrian musicians playing oud, ney and guitars.
