Wapstan is a synthesizer drone project of Martin Sasseville from Montreal, Canada. The project reflect a certain loose imagery from the north that is reflected in the self-titled Hypothermic Drones. Sasseville also performs in the bands Tandoori Dream (with Nimalan Yoganathan of Dead Bush/Shoebomber/Gold Sword) and GxBxIx (Pure Nordic Noise Metal with members of Défaillance and Reborn Six Dead) and other more obscure projects such as GRAND NORD and Foutredieu!!!.
