Artist Info: Vortigyn

Having risen out of different bands and backgrounds around Turnhout, Belgium, Vortigyn leaps forward by the end of 2011. At that time, Ester (vocals), Joris (grunts and guitar), Wannes (bass guitar), and Günther (drums) welcome Cisse (guitar) into their band.
Song writing is blossoming in early 2012, and, as a result, they try to define and re-define their sound. While definitely female fronted and surely metal, they incorporate some influences that are not immediately associated with most female fronted metal bands. [read more...]
