There are currently five musicians known, who all go under the name Vira.

1. VIRA is a female Alternative Rock/Metal musician of Mexican-American descent. She changed her name to Violent Vira.

2. Vira consist of past and present members from the The Downward Candidate and Frameless Scar, and is a young, but hard hitting metal band based in Copenhagen, Denmark, where light is rarely seen.
