Artist Info: Violet Uk

X Japan drummer and pianist (Yoshiki)'s current solo project. While no official release were marketed prior to 2005, the original idea for Violet UK had already been thought off in early 1997 before X Japan disbanded.

Yoshiki planned on releasing the first album in 2002. Unfortunate incidents (hide's death) and his general obsession with perfection pushed back that release date. As of September 2006, a major release by Violet UK has yet to see the light. [read more...]
