
Versi & the Proles are five secondary school teachers from Cumbria.
They teach a range of subjects including Drama, Citizenship, Geography and Art, and have been together for a year.
After the school bell rings on a Friday afternoon they wind down from the stresses of the week by clattering around with guitars and drums in the Art department.
The name "Versi & the Proles" derives from the George Orwell novel 1984.
In the novel a machine, called the Versificator, produces all music and literature for the Proles. [read more...]
