Starting as a recording project of Rhys Woodruff, Variety is an “arty punk, deranged alternative-rock” band from Austin, Texas (Post-Trash, 2024). Whether referencing drought-effected springs or the loss of a family member, Variety’s lyrics address motifs of nature and the fluctuating decay and loss each human experiences.
