Artist Info: Tolchock

There are two bands using the name Tolchock:

1. A heavy, minimalist drone-rock duo from Japan made up of guitarist Taku Idemoto and drummer Shoko Yoshida. Tolchock's sound owes a large debt to early German kosmische groups such as Ash Ra Tempel (particularly in their use of echo and looping effects) though it remains sonically aligned with the dark, reverb-drenched feel of 21st century contemporaries such as The Black Angels or The Cosmic Dead.
