Songwriter Laurier Tiernan wins awards and gets airplay on CBC radio and television in Canada, then moves to Japan. In the ensuing gigging, he hooks up with ex-U.S. Navy bassist Devin Wine. After a month of tearing it up as a duo in front of faithful audiences and English football hooligans, they welcome drummer Toru Hirasawa into the fold.
