Artist Info: The Split Lips

The Split Lips is the pseudonym of detroit electronic artist Christopher McGarry and a revolving scene of friends and musicians. Chris worked under this name from the beginning of 2004 onward creating lush ambient backdrops to glitchy chaotic noise patterns on top of recorded materials and heavily modified vocals. The Split Lips music can be described as combinations of psychedelic minimal techno, dark ambient and freeform glitch.
