Formerly known as Manchild and founded in the Summer of 2009 by like-minded musicians, The Diet is a psychedelic progressive art rock band from Calgary whose influences delve deeply into the past, from psych and Kraut Rock of the 60's, the Glam rock of the 70's to post-punk of the 80's.
