There is more than one artist that goes by Terraform.


1. A Portland, Oregon based art punk/no wave band.

Terraform was formed in the Winter of 2008 by guitarist Susan Subtract and drummer Paul Billy Sobiech. Rather than playing his guitar and singing in a traditional manner, Subtract instead focused on making unique and unusual sounds and contorting his voice. The music has been described as sparse, noisy, mechanical, and dancey and has been compared to early Devo, Arab On Radar, and various bands from the Bay Area Art-punk scene in the 70s. [read more...]
