Artist Info: Split Single

Just after Britt Daniel of Spoon launched his supergroup Divine Fits, came the announcement that he'd started another band called Split Single. This one would be fronted by Jason Narducy (formerly of Verbow, currently of Bob Mould's band), Daniel would play bass, and it would also include Supercunk/Mountain Goats drummer Jon Wurster. "Three guys, one mic. Just like how Elvis and Yes recorded," Wurster said of their recording process.


The nucleus of Split Single came into being during a rare lull for Narducy at the end of 2011. [read more...]
