Artist Info: Speak Galactic

Speak Galactic are an electronic lo-fi pop band from Gothenburg, formed by Owen Thomas in 2009.

After re-locating from Brighton, England to Gothenburg in Sweden in 2008, Owen started to record songs into his laptop. These sporadic sessions culminated in a full length album nearly 18 months later.
Released in March 2010, "When The Sea Water Reaches The Window" is 9 tracks of scratchy, ambient pop music, layering detuned guitars, samples and percussion over playful song structures and arrangements. [read more...]
