Sketchbeat were an alternative funk rock four piece with a sound that has been compared to a fusion of 'Queen, James Brown and the Chilli Peppers' (thelondonpaper). Xfm described their live stage show as ‘explosive’ built around trumpet riffs, guitar hooks, piano, punchy drums and four part harmonies.

The band was born when Uni mates Ed Webber (drums) and Paul Daron (vocals) teamed up with Mike Spencer Chapman (trumpet) and Rich Cummings (bass) in November 2005. [read more...]
