Artist Info: Simon Rose

Simon is an alto saxophonist working in the area of free improvisation. He performs in settings from solo to large groups. During the mid 90's he established Club Orange with tenor saxophonist John Grieve. A fortnightly, then weekly club for free jazz and improvised music in north London. It quickly became a venue where just about everyone from the improvised music scene in the UK as well as some from Europe and North America could be heard.
