French Nu-Metal band formed in 1998 at Cergy-Pontoise, Paris France.
Sherkan is an atypical group, a mixing of influences as various as Bjork, Mr. Bungle, Machine Head, Korn, Meshuggah, Sepultura. The band's wishes, with his primarily anglophone musical culture, are to make known its music beyond the French borders so it pushed them to sing exclusivly in English.
