Artist Info: Scientific Maps

Scientific Maps is a four piece (and oftentimes two-piece) band from Albany, N.Y. The Maps began in 2003 and has released a full length album titled Get Off the Moon and is nearing completion of a second album named Food for Witches.

They have played with bands such as of Montreal, Akron/Family and the Hold Steady. In 2006 Metroland voted Scientific Maps "BEST POP BAND" in the Capital Region and in 2008 Aaron Smith was named "BEST MALE SONGWRITER". [read more...]
