Sanctvs is a Canadian one-man black metal project from Montreal, Quebec, formed in 2016, by multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Mortheos (real name Xavier Berthiaume).

Xavier Berthiaume is a well-established figure in the Quebec black metal scene. He is best known as one half of the occult/Kabbalistic black metal duo Gevurah (where he handles vocals, drums, and guitars as X.T./Mortheos). He also plays drums in bands like Atramentus and Oriflamme, has done live duties for Akitsa, and has been involved with other projects such as Novae Militiae. [read more...]
