Deep within the winding woods and hills of INDEPENDENCE, Kentucky, is Recurrence. Formed in 2008 with the goal of writing catchy melodic death metal and making every live show memorable.

While the band pulls influence from melodic death metal bands such as Dark Tranquillity, Soilwork, The Duskfall, and Amon Amarth, they also incorporate other hardcore and metalcore influences such as Bury Your Dead, Bleeding Through, and God Forbid.
