Artist Info: Rapid Pips

Rapid Pips were a US Hardcore inspired punk band from Peacehaven, UK circa 1983 / 84.

The band featured Si (Simon Horlock) - vocals; Jon (Jon Thurling) - guitar; Muz (Murray Tompsett) - bass; and Theo (Anthony Theodotou)- drums. Other than one or two songs, their only recordings were captured live at Newhaven Boys' Club in summer 1984.

The band was offered gigs supporting legendary American hardcore bands Government Issue (The GIs) and The Scream, but their 8 track set was deemed too short by the promoter on both occasions.
