Psyclo was born on February 9, 1997, in Yingkou, China, and raised by her grandparents; she moved to her parents' city, Shenyang, China, with her grandpa at 5 for school. Psyclo didn't grow up with a musical background; she dedicated most of her early life to school; even though she was forced to take piano lessons when she was young, music was never her interest.
