Artist Info: Predmestje

Predmestje (eng. "Suburb"), was a Slovenian jazz rock / fusion band, formed in 1975 in Ljubljana. The founding members were Peter Gruden (guitar, vocal), Andrej Pompe (keyboards), Aleksander Malahovsky (saxophone), Janez Hvale (drums) and Gabriel Lah (bass). They played mostly instrumental music.
In 1977 they released their debut album, Brez naslova, which immediately established them as an important jazz rock / fusion ensemble in the former Yugoslavia. A year later, Danes, včeraj in... followed and in 1980 came their third album, Hazard. [read more...]
