Portread is a symphonic metal band from Estonia.

Portread was created in 2013 and the band is currently engaged with recording brand new material. Portread grew out of one of the first death metal bands in Estonia named Obscured, which was active in the early 90s. Lead singer Anne Arrak came in 6th place in Estonian Idol in 2009. Her tender yet strong vocals mixed with heavy guitar riffs and symphonic keyboard sounds create a unique and unconventional soundscape.

Portread's first LP was released in 2019 followed by "Decayeon" in 2020. [read more...]
