Jaron Tripp (Djembe) and Thomas Kulik (Guitar, Vocals) are Platane, an indepent band from Kleve, Germany, playing instrumental rock.

Their Demo-CD Platane was released in autumn 2004, their first full length album Let the Young One Sing was released in August 2006.
