Artist Info: Pimlico

Pimlico, one of London's best kept secrets. Touted by this very site as one of the best bands and songwriters of the mid 90's Britpop scene. Guitarist and songwriter Pete Twyman, bass player Andy Lewis and drummer Miles Chapman joined forces with singer Wesley Doyle in 1994. The band came up with a very English sound full of great melodies and a summer guitar sound.

The"Queenie" EP received huge amounts of airplay and became an indie/Britpop classic. [read more...]
