Artist Info: Peter Streiff

Peter Streiff (b. 1944 in Bern) is a Swiss composer.

Following his education as a graphic artist he studied music at Bern Conservatory. He has been a member of the 'Ensemble Neue Horizonte' in Bern since 1969. In 1971 and for the following five years he taught children and teenagers in various departments of education. From 1973 until 1989 he taught theory, analysis and new music at Winterthur Conservatory. He has held teaching posts at Bern Conservatory and at the teacher-training college of the University of Bern since 1987. [read more...]
