Peter Schaap (24 october 1946) is a Dutch singer/songwriter.

Peter Schaap was born in Groningen. He went to college in Groningen where he majored in pedagogic
studies. He than became a teacher at a grammar school. During his study and later on in his career as a teacher he sang and wrote chansons under his alias Peter Andreas.
