Artist Info: Perchta

Initially, Perchta was conceived as a project. Surrounded by the inspiring influences of the Tyrolean mountains, it was easy to be carried away and reinterpret the legendary figure of Perchta musically. In 2017, Fabio and Julia spent a significant amount of time in the studio, creating the debut album "Ufång" over two years.

Chris Knoll (Asphagor/Agrypnie) joined in 2019 as the guitarist, completing the pre-production. Max Egger (Asphagor) refined the drums, and Theresa Wopfner created atmospheric dulcimer and zither parts in the studio. [read more...]
