Artist Info: Patrick Gauthier

Patrick Gauthier (born February 27th, 1953) is a French progressive rock keyboardist and composer, most well-known for his work with Heldon and Zeuhl founders Magma.

First playing occasional informal gigs and studying philosophy at the university in Nanterre, he instead eventually felt drawn towards the world of synthesizers and began pursuing music full-time, joining fellow student Richard Pinhas to form Schizo in 1971, which later unfolded into the progressive electronic band Heldon [read more...]
