Parlovr (pronounced “parlour”) was an indie rock band from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, active between 2007 and 2012. The group was composed of Alex Cooper (vocals, keyboard), Louis David Jackson (vocals, bass), and Jeremy MacCuish (drums). Known for their energetic performances and emotionally charged sound, their music blended elements of garage rock, pop, and post-punk.

Parlovr released their self-titled debut album in 2008, which was re-released in 2010 by the label Dine Alone Records. [read more...]
