1) ONLY was a four-piece Alternative Metal band from Des Moines, Iowa, active from 2002 to 2012.

The roots of Only can be traced back to W.A.D., an Ames-based band in which guitarist Erich Tran was playing by 1998. While working at Best Buy in Des Moines, Tran met 16-year-old Sol Bales, who was playing in another band at the time. In August 2001, Bales joined W.A.D., bringing him together with Tran & bassist Joe Shields. W.A.D. disbanded by early 2002. [read more...]
