1. Omen is an American heavy metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1983 by guitarist Kenny Powell after his departure from the band Savage Grace. Known for a melodic yet forceful style of power metal, their sound has often been compared to bands such as King Diamond, Queensrÿche, Savatage, Manowar, and Helloween.
