NURAS formed in late 2006 by two brother-Mie Mambo and Wie Nuras. appeared with the first demo called 'Songs From The River Bank". Sold out in 200 copies. NURAS heated stages around Kuala Lumpur and Lembah Kelang by their simple and happy songs. Influenced from the pop punk/alternative/post punk band around the globe such like Ramones, R.E.M,Green day,the band,jimmy eat world,alkaline trio and etc.the original name of NURAS was STONERIVER, changed by Mie Mambo after several tragedic moments.
